Cowell is 5-10 with a long lankier athletic 150 pound frame that has a lot of projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a balanced athletic stance, low leg kick stride on line, short smooth load back to a slight wrap. Hips rotate completely with some violence and he maintains some lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short to the ball, slightly uphill swing path, some strength at contact with extension through the ball, showed a pull approach, swing generates loft and gap power to his pull side with the chance to add more as he gets stronger, exit velocity was 91. Behind the plate, quick clean exchange, throws from a lower three-quarters arm slot, short quick arm action, position velocity was 76 and pop times 1.99-2.08. Showed some accuracy on his throws. Ran a 7.49 60 yard dash.
