Dunkum is 5-9 with a physical athletic 160 pound frame that has some strength present and some projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a slightly open balanced athletic stance, strides on line, smooth load down and back to a slight bar. Hips rotate and he maintains some lower half balance. Hands stay inside, goes straight to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing path with some extension through the ball, showed good approach working gap to gap, generates some loft and carry in the gaps, exit velocity was 82. In the infield, rounds ball and fields with a wider base and average hands, works through the ball to a clean exchange, throws from a three-quarters arm slot, short arm action, position velocity was 75. Ran a 7.74 60 yard dash. On the mound, he throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, shorter free arm action and normal effort to his delivery. Drop and drive delivery, shoulders are uphill and closed, lands closed with a fall off finish. Fastball was 76-78, with some downward angle and some late armside run to it. Curveball was 60-62 with some armspeed and gradual 11/5 break to it. Change-up was 68-69 with good armspeed and some late hard fade. Slider was 61-62 sharp 11/5 break.
