6-foot-3, 200-pound. Athletic right-handed pitcher with a projectable frame. Delivery is smooth and compact with a strong lower half. Short arm action working through a ¾ slot. Works with confidence on the mound. At 81-85 MPH, the fastball works downhill with arm side run at times. Shows good feel for a near 12/6 breaking ball that has sharpness to it and swing and miss potential. Fansler also flashed a 75-76 MPH changeup that has some late cutting action. A physical bat from the right side. Uses a leg kick for timing while keeping hands simple prior to launch. Takes a slightly downhill path to contact, offering a balanced combination of strength and speed to stroke. Both tools grade out as above average. A line drive guy with gap abilities. In the outfield he has a corner type look to him. Plays under control with solid ball skills through fielding. Arm is an above average tool, offering accuracy and carry. Right field looks to be the most natural fit.

7/12/17 6-foot-2 175-pound right-handed hitter initiates swing from neutral set up with relatively high knee to knee leg kick and stride. Balance is good and an aggressive weight shift and turn are present. There is considerable bat wrap and hands do not work away from body in load creating an uphill swing path. Bat wrap creating length and leg kick also result in little room for error in regards to being on time. There is obvious athleticism, and bat speed to swing as evidenced by recorded 88 mph bat exit velocity.
