We've seen Armstrong a few times now and he continues to show quick improvements. Standing 5-foot-8, 135-pounds, the 2028 grad shows good actions behind the plate, moving easily while looking comfortable receiving velocity. His POP time ranged 3.19-2.37 with a peak arm velocity of 64 mph. At the plate he starts from a comfortable setup and works through the ball nicely. Reaching a max exit velocity of 69.9 mph, he did a quality job of getting the ball in the air. Good follow in the 2028 class.

This was our first look at Armstrong, who came into Scout Day as one of the younger players at Scout Day. Standing 5-foot-8, 140-pounds, the 2028 graduate stands out defensively with clear mobility & good actions behind the plate. With added strength, he'l be a player to follow over the years.
