Positional Profile: OF/RHP
Body: 6-0, 173-pounds. Medium build with long limbs, athletic and lean.
Hit: LHH. Balanced, athletic stance. Strength in the hands, showed some juice to the pullside gap. Disciplined hitter, a lot to like. 67.7 mph bat speed with 15 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 93 max exit velocity, averaged 86.7 mph. 309' max distance.
Arm: RH. OF-89 mph. Strong arm.
Defense: Moves through the ball, fields out front.
ATH: 1.74 and 4.08 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. 27.00 max vertical.
5-foot-7, 129-pound solid frame. In the box, the left-handed hitters best exit velocity was 70 mph. Begins in a quiet stance with a big load, then uses a toe tap. Had good extension on his finish. Found some barrels during his round. Opposite field approach. While in the infield, made throws up to 66 mph. Used an-over-the-top slot with a short arm action. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 8.98.
Offensively, he started from an athletic square stance and did a very nice job getting his hands loaded and kept the barrel through the zone. Showed a solid middle of the field approach with some whip through the zone. Did a nice job gathering himself after fielding the ball in the dirt and getting his weight moving toward 1B. Had good rhythm in his motion on the mound and the arm worked. Will continue to develop as he grows and matures physically. Showed 12/6 action on the breaking ball and his FB showed some 2 seam action.
