Positional Profile: 3B/2B Will be following development of body and athleticism, actions are clean.
Body: 5-6, 165-pounds. Stocky build, strength in lower half.
Hit: RHH. Stance is open with a base that is outside of shoulder width. Hands are held on the back shoulder with the bat laying flat. Creates some rhythm with hands as he starts the swing. Uses a toe tap stride that gets him back to a square position. Body position is consistent, hits from a strong spot. Very controlled in the box. Swing mechanics and approach are both simple, some inconsistencies with timing and contact points.
Power: 88.6 max exit velocity, averaged 78.3 mph. 309’ max distance. One of the higher sweet spot % on the day. High % of line drive contact. Controls the barrel well and creates backspin flight to the middle.
Arm: RH. INF - 75 mph. Arm can play from the left side. 4 seam flight across the diamond. Throws from a 3/4 slot.
Defense: Does a good job with footwork and keeping his body in motion to target, fields balls off the left eye. Showed some range side to side and ability to field balls one handed outside his body.
Run: 7.74 runner in the 60. Moves well for size.
