We got an updated look at 2027 graduate Martin Galloway out of the Mid-Island Pirates program. Standing a healthy 6-foot-1, 165-pounds, there's something there as he's got the frame and swing to put it together well as he matures. In the box he's a simple operator with consistency in his swing, catching the sweet spot at an impressive 79% clip. It's a standard setup with his hands low and in a comfortable spot, starting slightly open while slowly working into his swing before generating a peak exit velocity of 87.6 mph and carry distance of 275 feet. Behind the plate he's developing, but there's clear life and looseness in his arm, running it up to 76 mph (83 mph from the OF), while keeping his pop time in an impressive 1.96-2.17 range. Overall good day for Galloway, who shows promise as he continues to develop.
