On Monday, February 17th, the Prep Baseball British Columbia staff hosted it's first event of the 2025 season with the Victoria New Year Invite hosted at Oak Bay Recreation Centre in Victoria, British Columbia.

This event featured roughly 37 prospects in the 2025 - 2028 classes and it was a strong group that featured some of the top players in their respective classes and provided some strong leaderboards. Players at the event, alongside Preseason Events across the country, are competing for roster spots on Canada's National Team's at events such as the Future Games, Senior Future Games, West Coast Games, Best of the West and the Pacific NorthWest State Games.

All player ran through a full workout that included batting practice and bullpens captured on our TrackMan. Over the next several days we'll be highlighting top performers from the event within our post-event analysis. Stay locked into our social media channels over the next several days as we continue to push out video, leaderboards and more.

Today, we'll continue our deep dive into the data collected at this event within this Statistical Analysis story. Over the next couple of days we’ll be diving deeper into all of the data we collected rolling out even more coverage from the event.
