We've seen Abbott a few times now, and he continues to remain polished through his development. Standing in at a 6-foot, 160-pounds, Abbott shows promise on both sides of the ball. The 2027 graduate starts balanced at the plate with a slight tendency to pull off the ball. He's not short of strength and does well when he extends his hands, reaching a max exit velocity of 91.4 mph and a carry distance 339 feet. On the mound he's an up-tempo mover who showed feel for three pitches. His fastball lives 75-77, topping out at 78 mph. He spun his curveball well and did a good job of keeping it down in the zone, while also flashing a mid-60s slider. Still on the younger side, Abbott is a good mover who will benefit from added size and strength.
