Positional Profile: SS/OF
Physical: 5-8, 165-pounds; Athletic, proportional build. 6.93 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Open setup, with feet narrow; flat bat start to upright bat position. Short take back with the hands with a gliding stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an aggressive lower half. Showed a slight lift to the ball with two handed finish. More line drives than fly balls and ground balls with a peak exit velocity of 93 MPH via Trackman. Full swing while maintaining body control and consistent barrel contact, adjustable to different locations.
Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; uses prep hop while displaying fluid actions to the baseball. Hands are out in front while staying low during transfer. Short take back from a standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 83 MPH. Plays low to and through the ball, fields cleanly out front keeping ball off his body, accurate thrower, strong arm with sound glove skills and range to make above average plays.

Body: 5-8, 150 lbs. Smaller build. Lean and athletic. Room to fill out.
Hit: Upright and slightly open in stance with bat at shoulder. Level stroke. Turns tight and stays connected. Balanced throughout. Gap to gap throughout BP round. Had two hits on the weekend which included an RC gap double and a 2 strike single up the middle.
Power: 89 mph max exit velo. 310ft max distance. Current LD singles hitter with some flash of gap to gap power.
Field: Showed solid actions during the workout. Rhythmic fielder. Gloved to the left side of the body. Smaller funnel into throwing hand. Glove tap before getting to release. Made his routine plays during game action.
Arm: Shorter arm action. Average arm strength for level. â…˜ accurate during defensive workout. Changed up arm slots when needed. Slower in getting to release.
Run: 7.27 laser timed 60.
Monterey Bay Winter Hitting Update:
High hands slightly opened stance. Loose easy swing with strong wrists keeping barrel level through zone. Compact swing with balance and understanding of timing. Line drive swing that will continue to improve as he matures for hard line drives.
