5-11, 185 strong and physical frame with width and muscle showing in chest. Tall at the plate with high back elbow utilizes toe-tap to get on time as hands have quick backwards load. Barrel lifts through the zone showing strength in his swing and having a long one handed high finish; was able to regularly lift line drives through the pull side and has the strength in the frame to keep adding. Works to stay behind the baseball in the OF bending at the waist and using a compact arm swing to keep throws online. In the infield flashed some lateral range keeping arm higher with full swing; glove plays a bit high and can keep working on the flexibility to play in INF.
1/13/19 - Central Valley Preseason ID - Medium frame with a wide chest, showing strength in shoulders. Short stride from a high runner (8.09 60-yd dash). Tall, balanced stance with a slight bend in knees and high hands/high back elbow; big front leg lift as hands work back in lean load to back hip. Good job of hitting behind the baseball working on an upward path; times where he lets his hands get around the ball into pull side (83 exit velo). Compact arm with some length down before ¾ release; limited pull down as balls had a high angle to bags. Arm and legs looked to be more in time when working in the INF (76 mph)
