Physical: 6-3, 185 pounds; Long, lean build. 7.40 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; upright bat position. Drops hands on the way back with a moderate leg kick for timing. Drifts into contact while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a slight lift to the ball with a two handed finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 97.00 MPH via Trackman. Active in the box, a lot of moving parts, best to the pullside.
Defensively: Starts with an upright/tall setup; utilizing a traditional primary position while displaying fluid actions to the baseball. Hands work through the ball while standing up during transfer. Moderate arm circle from a high 3/4 arm slot. OF - 88.00 MPH. Comfortable in the outfield, sense of urgency to the ball needed, accurate throws.
Pitching: Uses a glove side setup while using a side step. Mid chest leg drive with a slight coil away from the plate. Has a long stride while landing open. Long arm swing while arm wraps behind the body; standard 3/4 slot. Spins off 1B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 88 MPH, while sitting 87-88 MPH; plays up in the zone. CB: 70-71 MPH; showed depth. CH: 79-80 MPH; maintains the same plain. Stride and arm action in the front play, long relief potential, good speed differential between 3-pitch mix.
