Offensively: RH. EV max – 93.7 mph, hand speed max – 21.6 mph, bat speed max – 71.3 mph; Wide balanced set-up with event feet, slightly off the plate, hitterish presence, slight hand rhythm movement, small reverse move prior to medium stride, loads straight back as he stretches into separation, physical swing, top hand starts above and finishes above ball into two-hand finish, aggressive attack angle, consistent sweet spot% (50, balls hit between 8-32 degrees), keeps ball off the ground.
Defensively: 1B mph – 76; Calmly walks into fielding position, light feet, soft hands, closes on ball decisively, works bag with feel, accurate feeds, high level defensive skills and fundamentals with feel for the position.
Delivery: Prep step in front of rubber as he turns into lift, knee lifts just above waist as he tucks and gathers over rubber, sinks in to back leg prior to stride, kicks foot out to start stride, long stride, firm plant foot with in-line stride, stable lower body, has control of his delivery, willing and able to change arm angles and manipulate the delivery for some deception, some leverage with glove arm as elbow pulls just past his body, finishes in fielding position.
Arm Action: Fairly compact on backside, some slight stab, elbow creeps up prior to arm action unfolding on way to 3/4 slot, displayed multiple arm angles, sub-5.0 release height.
FB: T79 mph, 76-79 mph range, 2154 max spin; Able to use FB in multiple ways with lower release height giving the FB a chance up in the zone, long extension creates some length through the zone even with modest velocity, horizontal movement numbers on low end.
CB: 63-64 mph, 2214 max spin; Maintains same release height as FB more often than not while dropping down a little further at times, slippery bender with some sizeable shape, deception in the delivery and feel for the ball makes this a quality pitch.
