We’re all used to seeing Colombara dominate on the mound, but instead he was playing first base and hitting in the clean up spot for the Marauders. Colombara produced two of the seven Jesuit hits that were on display during the game. The first knock was an off speed pitch he hammered over the outfielders head for a double, ball was hit to the middle of the field. The second knock came in the last inning where he wasted no time jumping on a heater to get a single into LF, keeping the momentum alive for Jesuit who was down 5-0 to start the first two innings of this game. Colombara is a leader on this team and it shows when you see him hyping up all his teammates around him. I can’t wait to see him start throwing on the mound when he gets all back to 100%.
