Body: 6-3, 200-pounds. Strong, imposing build. Strength is noticeable with other kids in his class. Great athlete.
Hit: RHH. Slightly open stance with a slow big leg kick. Gathers onto his backside well. Quiet hands that explode to the baseball. Great balance and the lower half is strong and engaged throughout the whole swing. The exit velocity stands out in his batting practice, getting up to 98 mph putting multiple balls over the fence. He creates real good lift with his hands and strikes the bottom half of the baseball generating tons of backspin.
Power: 98.00 max exit velocity.
Arm: RH. INF - 81.00 mph. Strong arm that can play anywhere. Accurate from all angles and on the run. Quick 3/4 arm action.
Defense: Smooth and athletic considering the larger build. Above-average range. Bounces around. Soft hands and gets to release quick.
Run: 7.32 runner in the 60.
Kim Checks in at 6-foot-2, 170lbs. lean, wiry frame with plenty more room for added strength and muscle. This recruit will be a difference maker at the varsity level next year and be an impact player for years to come. His offensive approach and maturity level at such a young age is impressive and his ability to square the ball up consistently with loud contact is the separator. Defense is raw and needs polish, but has a solid fundamental base to work from.
