Defense: Pops: 2.28-2.29 Wide base, firm hands, longer exchange, accurate thrower keeping the ball around the bag each time. Receives from a traditional setup, may have trouble sticking low pitches due to higher setup.
Hit: RHH. Even feet, slightly past shoulder width. Hands slightly above shoulder with some light bat waggle. Uses a front heel lift for timing trigger, Level bat path that is direct to the ball, lower/top half connected through rotation. Quick, short stroke that stays behind the ball. Physical: 5-6, 170-pounds; Full, sturdy build. 7.92 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; has a pre-pitch bat waggle. Short take back with the hands with a heel lift for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a direct swing path with two handed finish. More ground balls than line drives and fly balls with a peak exit velocity of 87 MPH via Trackman. Kept ball out of the air, 44.4% LDs, 55.6% GBs, stayed on-plane at a high rate, compact contact oriented swing.
Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; utilizing a traditional primary position while staying a bit elevated in receiving position. Hands soft and strong while staying down to receive prior to transfer. Moderate arm circle from a high/over the top arm slot. 2.28-2.29 pop times. C - 68 MPH. Throws generally around bag, gets throw underway with some air under it, MIFs had opportunity to make easy effort plays.
