Santa Rosa JC (CA) - 2/5/19 -6-foot-2, 185-pounds. Lanky frame, good agility, moves athletically behind plate. Stood out multiple times with ability to block curveballs in dirt, saved a run and some extra bases. Pitchers appeared confident throwing to him. Receives with soft hands, able to shift side to side and present pitches well that were a bit off target. Worked well with umpire and stole a few. Played a less than routine pop-up well to the 1B side, located it and had to hustle to make catch just in front of the backstop. He plays the position athletically with good feel. Hands are soft/strong, presents well without being stiff. Arm is below average but accuracy is good, pop times in warm ups 2.15ish. Did block/recover curve in dirt and throw out runner attempting to advance to 2nd base. Offensively didn't factor with contact, rather he walked three times, went 0-1 w/R-scored.
