10-24-2018: Large frame, lean showing a high waist with twitchy actions and frame that can continue to strengthen. At the plate works with a wider stance as hands start at the back shoulder showing a slight wiggle with a high back elbow. Transfers weight into back hip as hands work directly back with slight foot lift; front hip clears allowing for stretch before bat fires on plane with back hip as quick hands work in compact path to the baseball and finish over stiff front leg. During batting practice showed above average ball to bat skills with ability to consistently find barrels driving line drives all around the field; approach BP by staying focused on the middle of the field. Average runner showing strong stride length and quick feet (4.5 H-1st); run skill flashed more on base paths with excellent base running skills stealing multiple bases in game and showing ability to score from 1st. The athleticism on base paths transferred over to defense at 3B with loose hips showing very quick reactions at the hot corner and excellent glove work staying down and working through the ball; played 3B like a SS showing ability to make plays into the six-hole and throwing from multiple angles with ease. Arm is average with ability to put ball on the bases with straight lines and showing enough for deep plays to back hand. In game moved to 2B and showed strong footwork around the bag allowing for more to defensive profile as needed. (Ozella)
