Hit: Slightly open stance with stiff barrel/hands hanging over home plate. Simple forward stride as hands load back. Quick hands. Barrel takes a direct slight uphill path with above average bat speed. More FBs that LDs/GBs in BP. Most barrels were LDs to the RC gap.

Positional Profile: 1B
Physical: 6-1, 225-pounds; Full, broad shouldered build. 7.77 runner in the 60.
Offensively: LHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; upright bat position. Drops hands on the way back with a moderate leg kick for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an aggressive lower half. Showed a slight lift to the ball with two handed finish with occasional top hand release. More fly balls than line drives and ground balls with a peak exit velocity of 93 MPH via Trackman. Heavy fly ball % (80), nothing on the ground, has feel for his approach, the BP round was consistent swing to swing, strong barrel connection %, let's swing happen within his tools vs forcing it beyond what he needs to be successful.
Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; uses prep step while displaying fluid actions to the baseball. Hands are soft while funneling to the hip before transfer. Moderate arm circle from a low-3/4 arm slot. 1B - 68 MPH. Outstanding footwork and feel for the position, soft hands with deft glove work, works back like a technician, accurate feeds to 2B.
