Positional Profile: LHP/LHP Fishel has a lively FB with quality secondary pitches that will allow him to continue to succeed and get even better as he fills in his frame.
Body: 6-1, 186-pounds. Developed at 6-1, 186 but could add overall strength and size.
Delivery: Keeps weight on his back hip. Torso slouches as he starts moving toward the plate. Keeps ball hidden by staying closed until release.
Arm Action: LH. Low 3/4 release. Cocks arm back early and whips it forward.
FB: T87, 83-87 mph. Arm side run and sink. Located down, in, and out within the zone. T2325, 2122 average rpm.
CB: 71-72 mph. Not too much drop, effective enough to locate as a get-me-over strike. T1905, 1780 average rpm.
SL: 73-74 mph. Gets plenty of sweep and and drop. Deadly to LHH. T2692, 2649 average rpm.
CH: 78-78 mph. Mirrored movement to the FB with heavy drop. T871, 871 average rpm.
Came out strong establishing corners with the fastball. Slider break was inconsistent but the pitch served as a good change of pace pitch. Command was spotty with all pitches after first inning. Gained command of both in second inning and attacked hitters with confidence.
