Bay Area World Series 2022 - Uncommitted as of this report; One of top uncommitted 2023 talents in Northern CA, has well-rounded tools that encompass both his abilities as a position player and a pitcher, athletic body that he has clearly put time into, strength and streamline proportions, built like an impact athlete, ran 7.25 60-yd, 90 mph max INF throw, 92.6 max EV, multiple hard hit balls in game action, went 4-for-7 (1B, 2 2B, 3B, 2 K, F6), has ability to punish mistake pitches, 36% hard hit % w/45% sweet spot %, 45% LDs and 27% fly balls which both fit his abilities with the bat, arm plays in game action and he's a comfortable and confident fielder with playmaking abilities, clean easy arm on the mound, FB up to 89 mph, max spin of 2239, attacked and pounded the zone with FB, closer type approach and stuff, SL up to 76 mph (71-74 range), feel for landing it for strikes, CHG 78-80 mph, repertoire suggests he has starter potential though with what will be a starting SS role as a senior, it seems likely that his pitching future likely is going to be as a reliever, provided he hits in order to stay at SS. Hard-working and talented player.
vs Buchanan: Lean athletic body with strength, starting SS, hit 5th in order, has above average arm across diamond with non-flashy and efficient actions, flashes bat talent with some pull side impact ability, lost barrel on a handful of fastballs resulting in 4-5 foul balls back in line with the 3B line, slight top hand adjustment and those pitches will end up in the LF gap.
