Body: 6-0, 185-pounds. Lean, athletic build with room to add healthy mass.
Hit: RHH. Open stance, active hands with a small hitch. Small leg kick initiates weight shift forward. Stays balanced athletic all the way through. Showed feel for the barrel during his BP round. Bat stays level through the zone with current gap to gap power. Projects for more.
Power: 87.00 max exit velocity
Arm: RH. INF - 81.00 mph. Compact arm stroke that should stick in the MIF. Little waisted movement, peaked at 81 MPH across the diamond.
Defense: Above average movements in the IF. Was quick, but under control and showed lateral quickness to both sides. Fielded balls cleanly.
Run: 7.61 runner in the 60.
Delivery: Quicker tempo wind up, medium high leg lift with body control at the peak. Sits into rear glute well down the mound and keeps rotation tight to his body.
Arm Action: RH. Tight and efficient arm path with no wasted movement. Neutral hand out of the glove and everything gets up on time.
FB: T84, 80-82 mph. Fastball featured above average Induced Vertical Movement and therefore should play well up in the zone. Will get on hitters as well compared to the average FB.
CB: 72-74 mph. Sweepy curveball dominated by horizontal movement. Averaged nearly 8 inches of horizontal movement during his bullpen.
SL: 74-78 mph. Slider was firmer and featured more Induced vertical break than the CB. Quality movement difference that creates two distinct weapons.
CH: 75-77 mph. Average velocity and movement separation from the FB. Will benefit from killing vertical break to increase movement separation.
