2/26/26
Carson made a loud first impression in my first live look of him, launching a three-run homer early that helped break the game open for Linfield Christian. The Nevada commit finished 2-for-4 with a double, home run, and four RBIs, reaching base multiple times while consistently working himself into hitter’s counts. Carson shows a mature, calming presence in the box — confident, patient, and never rushed — and he didn’t get cheated on any pitches in the zone. He displayed a legitimate top-of-the-order bat profile in the win for LC. In 2025, Carson hit .382 with two home runs and eight extra-base hits, and he’s now jumped out to a strong start in 2026, going 4-for-7 with four runs scored across his first eight plate appearances. The infielder carries present strength in a proportional 5-10 to 5-11 frame and profiles well on the dirt, primarily at third and second base. The approach, composure, and steady production all point to a LH bat that should continue trending upward this spring.
