6/1/18-6/3/18 @ BAWS 2018 - Wiry and athletic with some present strength on a compact and well-proportioned frame. Compact stance with quiet lower hands; quick barrel with pull side action. Beat out ball for base hit in game. Compact arm in outfield with decent arm strength though somewhat limited carry. Very rangy and quick to get ball in centerfield. Same speed showed in game and on base paths; 4.22 H-1^st. Igniter type player with energy and aggressiveness. On mound showed simple delivery with hands staying tight to body while using turn in back hip to create deception. High front knee before sitting early and attacking with mid-3/4 release. Fastball 74-78 with cut below zone. Curveball 58-63 with loopy slow spin; tendency to be around pitch and limited snap through zone. He's a position player who pitches in high school. Stick with the looks at him as an outfielder and lock in on his intangibles, they are pretty clear.
