Positional Profile: SS/2B Oquendo has plenty of room to add to his frame. An already proficient fielder with the hit tool coming along, these next few years will give him time to develop.
Body: 5-8, 132-pounds. Lean and athletic build. Plenty of room to add.
Hit: RHH. Bat is parallel to the ground, above his head. Feet arm even at shoulder width apart. Knob of the bat drops down and back into a load. Creates uphill launch angle. Steps slightly in during his stride. 60.6 mph bat speed with 24 G’s of rotational acceleration.
Power: 93 max exit velocity, averaged 83.3 mph. 332' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-76 mph. Short arm action, ball gets out quick and smooth.
Defense: Quiet feet and smooth hands. Funnels the ball into hands and ready for a throw right away.
ATH: 7.35 runner in the 60. 1.81 and 4.10 in the 10 and 30 yard splits.

Defense: Advanced actions. Works into good posture working low to the ground and displaying early. Light feet that work through the ball with soft/sure hands. Smooth/clean funnel. Showing early signs of being able to stay up the middle. 
Arm: RH. INF - 74 mph. Average strength for level. Shorter AA. Lower elbow slot. Quick to release. Avg. effort. More in the tank. 4/6 accurate throws during workout. 
Hit: SH. Similar from both sides. Smooth loaders. Simple forward stride from the right side and a toe tap trigger from the left. Hands load a more upright barrel. Slight uphill bat path. Average bat speed, a bit bat speed and barrel accuracy from right side then left. More LDs than FBs/GBs during 2 rounds. Avg. power for level (79 mph max EV).

Physical: 5-6, 120 pounds; Smaller lean, athletic build. 7.63 runner in the 60.

Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet shoulder width apart; flat bat to start. Drops hands on the way back. Foot gets down early and loads the barrel into a good launch position. Stays behind the ball while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a compact swing path with a two handed finish. More ground balls than line drives and fly balls with a peak exit velocity of 81 MPH via Trackman. Stays connected well. Good balance. Adjusts posture when needed.

Defensively: INF - 74 MPH. Advanced defensive actions. Light/quick feet that play through the ball. Soft hands that work well to both sides. Shorter arm action. Average arm strength with accuracy. Showing early signs of being able to stay at SS down the line.
