CH: 71-72 mph. 11:15 Tilt, 20.2 IVB (93rd percentile Extreme Ride), -7.8 HB (64th percentile Slight Cut), 1504 Spin Rate. Changeup plays very similarly to fastball but with slightly less ride, cut, spin and speed.
Orange County Preseason All-State - strong sturdy athletic build in a 6-foot-2 200 pound frame. The left-hander worked quickly and filled up the zone with a three-pitch-mix. Arches his back to create power and fires towards home plate. Located his fastball to both sides of the plate at 79-81 mph with carry through the zone. Curveball had a sharp break to it and some swing and miss action at 67 mph while consistently commanding the pitch. Change-up looked like his fastball out of the hand with run and sink at 68-70 mph while offering an ideal speed differential. Starter potential with a projectable frame that should see innings this season with a chance to raise his value with a gain in velocity.
