Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Short take back with the hands with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a compact swing path with a late one hand finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 88.00 MPH via Trackman. Comfortable and repeatable swing showing ability to handle the inside part of the plate. Rotational ability will help create extension and quality contact.
Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; uses prep hop while displaying fluid actions to the baseball. Hands are underneath the body with a clean transfer. Moderate arm circle from a standard 3/4 arm slot. 2.09-2.20 pop times. C - 74.00 MPH. Works low to high, shows ability to steal strikes, good target, received well in bullpen session.
