Uncommitted; Compactly built 5-foot-8 175-pound catcher is built well for the position. Energetic player, seems to be a catalyst type for his team. Good block of BID effort with solid technique, bounces out of crouch well, showed good receiving skills overall and was noticeably good on his glove side, showed ability to let curveball break as long as it needs to before receiving it in a good spot for his pitcher, arm strength is fair, was 70 mph on warm-up tosses, did throw out a runner with a very accurate toss around 2.08 that was right on the bag. Offensively he gets through contact well and takes a healthy swing looking to do damage. Good baserunner with quick decision making and good instincts.
