In today’s game, Jack Boucher of Mission Viejo High School showcased why he’s a player to keep an eye on this season. The talented hitter had an impressive performance at the plate, reaching base three times and making solid contact throughout the game. Boucher's standout moment came in his first at-bat, where he laced a hard-hit single up the middle. Not only did it produce two RBIs, but it also helped extend the rally for Mission Viejo. The key takeaway here was his ability to jump on a high fastball, staying on time with the pitch and driving it right back up the middle. In his next at-bat, Boucher didn’t let up, smacking another hard-driven single, this time to left field. His ability to consistently make solid contact is only going to get better and a testament to his maturity at the plate. Boucher is proving to be a key contributor for Mission Viejo and a player worth watching in the coming months.
