He posted the second-fastest 60-yard dash at 6.65, and with a wiry, athletic frame that still has plenty of time to mature, there’s clear long-term upside tied to his natural athleticism. Offensively, Boyd turned in a strong BP round, showing strong barrel control with a 91.2 mph average exit velocity and a 95.5 mph max, driving the ball gap to gap with a max distance of 352 feet. His swing is simple and repeatable, working from a wide base with minimal stride, which allows him to stay on plane and produce consistent contact.
