The athlete's fastest 60-yard dash time in the given event year. Measured in seconds (s)
7.39
Infield Velocity
The athlete's maximum throwing velocity from an infield position in the given event year. Measured in miles per hour (MPH).
86.0
Power / Speed Score
A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.
13.2
Infield Velocity
The athlete's maximum throwing velocity from an infield position in the given event year. Measured in miles per hour (MPH).
89.0
Outfield Velocity
The athlete's maximum throwing velocity from an outfield position in the given event year. Measured in miles per hour (MPH).
A fastball with hop has a flat approach angle and visually jumps through the zone. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher swing and miss average. Hop+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Sink+
A fastball with sink has low backspin and drops through the strike zone. When thrown down in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher ground ball percentage and lower launch angle. Sink+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Rise+
A fastball with rise has a high percentage of backspin. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher fly ball percentage. Rise+ of 100 is MLB average
The athlete's fastest 0-10-yard split time in the given event year. Measured in seconds.
1.60
30 Yard Dash
The athlete's fastest 0-30-yard split time in the given event year. Measured in seconds.
3.88
60 Yard Dash
The athlete's fastest 0-60-yard time in the given event year. Measured in seconds.
7.07
Top Speed (MPH)
The athlete's fastest split time converted to miles per hour.
RSi
The reactive strength index measurement of an athlete's explosiveness by comparing their jump height to the ground contact time in between their jumps. On a scale of 0-5.
Vertical Jump
A measure of any athlete's body strength and reach calculated from the flight time divided by the contact time.
The athlete's fastest 0-10-yard split time in the given event year. Measured in seconds.

I really liked what I saw from Kuhn. He showed off his 2-way potential by having a strong performance on both sides of the ball in the win for CC. He first started the game at 3B and showcased strong actions at the hot corner with an arm that played and was accurate. At the plate, he picked up a base hit in his 1st at bat, staying back on a breaking ball and lining it to LF for a single. He finished the game going 1-2 with a BB and a run scored. In the 6th inning, he took over on the mound and looked sharp in his 2 innings of work. He filled up the zone sitting 86-87 mph with his FB and he tunneled that well with a SL at 76-77 mph. It worked side to side and caused an awkward look for RHHs as he threw around his body and stayed closed off when coming downhill to home. Staying closed off allowed him to cause deception with hitters and he was able to hide the ball well to where they were picking up spin late. He stood out to Matt Monk of Prep Baseball CA a few games back as well and it was much of the same result on the mound…. Attacked with a lively FB (Topped at 90 mph that afternoon) and put hitters away with a SL that was hard for them to pick up out of the hand.

Flat bat path through the zone, stays on top of the ball, hits line drives. 74.2 mph bat speed with 18g of rotational acceleration. Power: 98 mph max exit velocity (90.4 avg.); 350-foot max batted distance. Arm: RH. INF - 86.00 mph. Compact and quick arm, high 3/4 slot, throw has carry. Defense: Stays low, quick to the ball, two-hand gather, athletic. Athletic Testing: 7.39 runner in the 60-yard dash. Positional Profile: RHP Body: 5-11, 186.3-pounds. Delivery: Slight bend in back knee, small leg lift, works downhill. Arm Action: RH. Quick arm speed to generate velocity, compact arm action, high 3/4 slot. FB: T87, 85-87 mph. Displays a lot of rise, firm, has the ability throw on both sides of the plate, accurate. T2110, 2012 average rpm. SL: 75-76 mph. Displays 11/5 movement. T2343, 2302 average rpm. CH: 72-75 mph. Heavy movement and sinking action, deceptive. T1709, 1640 average rpm.

Kaden Kuhn, Cathedral Catholic San Diego (CA), 2026 Positional Profile: SS/RHP Body: 6-0, 185-pounds. Athletic build with some wiry strength at present that shows room to fill as he matures Hit: RHH. Wide stance with bend in his knees and slightly open set up. Hands are set high almost above his head over rear shoulder with high back elbow and bat waggle. Small movements in the load with a short stride minimal weight shift back and slight wrap of barrel to load. Gets to launch in taller posture with ability to sink slightly into rear leg before letting his hips and back shoulder drive through contact. Path is direct with leverage into a high finish that works the middle of the field. Power: 96 max exit velocity, averaged 82.7 mph. 343' max distance. LD to Flyball predominant swing with presently good top end EV and feel to get to the sweet spot at contact which both show present middle of the field doubles power with pull side HR potential. Arm: RH. INF-89 mph. OF-90 mph. INF: short to medium length arm circle with arm speed and carry to his throws but inconsistent accuracy. Can throw from different slots. OF: Similar motion to the INF with arm path and shows plenty of carry to his throws with good accuracy to the bases. Defense: INF: has good footwork with soft hands and plays with decent rhythm that shows left side of dirt potential. OF: easy mover with footwork into ground balls and ability to cover ground that he projects CF/RF potential. ATH: 7.07 runner in the 60. 1.60 and 3.88 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. Gets online quickly with burst off the line to get to top speed quick and with stride length and quickness to maintain speed 28.50 max vertical.
