Positional Profile: C/OF Rising profile who continues to show development across the board with potential behind the plate and a solid offensive toolset.
Body: 6-0, 160-pounds. Lean wiry build at present with wide shoulders and room to fill.
Hit: RHH. Slightly wider base and open with bend in his knees, but a vertical upper body. Low rear elbow with hands set about shoulder height at rear shoulder depth. Barrel laid back towards 3B dugout. Starts load with a shift into back hip before taking a small forward stride to reach launch. Stays taller in his turn with his barrel working up through the hitting zone to generate leverage/lift through contact. Shows present bat speed in swing path. 72.5 mph bat speed with 15 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 95 max exit velocity, averaged 82.0 mph. 318' max distance. There is impact in the contact profile with solid top end EV, but inconsistency of ability to get the ball in the air does limit some power potential. Pullside HR impact with gap to gap doubles.
Arm: RH. C-79 mph. Flashes present arm strength from a quick transfer at chest height but away from body. Hand works to the ear quickly, but inconsistencies in mechanics caused SS side misses on throws. Ball has low carry showing potential.
Defense: 2.00-2.05 pop times. His glove is solid with feel to present pitches while handling velocity/spin. Can clean up the blocking technique, but is solid there. Profiles to stick behind the dish.
