Wobrock backed up a strong showing at the 2025 Central California Preseason All State with a solid two innings of work in this live look. Lean and wiry in his build at around 6’1-2 in height the delivery for Wobrock is low effort with a controlled tempo while repeating a clean move down the mound into foot strike. His arm is clean and quick working to a high ¾ slot which suits his present three pitch arsenal very well. Wobrock pitches off a four-seam FB in the 84-86 MPH range which touched 87 MPH on while demonstrating feel to elevate the pitch near the top of the zone to get soft contact in the air or with heavy tilt down in the zone to run under the barrel for ground-ball contact. After the FB Wobrock featured a solid present CHG at 77-79 with more tumble than fade in the profile which he threw with FB arm speed and solid present control/feel and then added a 71-73 MPH CB with an 11/5 shape that is presently softer in the shape and fits as a cross-count offering presently. Wobrock showed solid present control to be in the zone, but there were some big misses down with his FB/CHG, but showed solid feel to throw his CB for strikes. It was a clean two innings of work for Wobrock who allowed no runs, struck out one, picked up five whiffs, walked one and hit one batter that backed up what looks like a strong present foundation. I would label Wobrock as more foundation than polish with him being closer to his floor as a pitcher than his future ceiling which shows long-term starter potential especially if he can add strength to his frame, develop increased velocity/life on his FB-CB while continuing to improve his CHG and is a name to keep eyes on for college programs in the 2026 class.
