2/2/16- 5-foot-11, 155-pounder with an athletic, projectable build. Presents the ability to square the ball up from the left hand side. Takes good at bats, awareness of the strike zone. Batted No. 2 in the order for Alonso.

12/10/15- 5-foot-11, 155-pounder with an athletic, lean build. Stood out during batting practice from the left hand side as he continually squared the ball up and hit it to all parts of the field. Ball jumps off the bat and has the ability to hit for extra bases with his gap-to-gap potential.

12/7/14 SF Elite tryout - Young guy with lean projectable body. Good approach at he plate with quickness in hands. Has a good plane with good hand eye. Bat will continue to improve with physical maturity. Did not see in field.

8/12/19: Utility man Jared DeSantolo enjoyed a strong season at the plate, batting .301 with four home runs in 113 at-bats. Defensively, he showed an average arm, but had limited defensive value with unsure hands. His bat is his tool, and one that should enable him to be considered for selection in the later rounds next June. (Seifert)
