Florida recruit RHP Joshua Whritenour (A3 Academy, FL) impressed with two scoreless innings for the Braves. He overmatched the Mariners with a well-placed, late-hopping fastball up to 94 mph, a present average 80-82 curve and feel for a mid-80s slider. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound right-hander combines strong present stuff, high pitchability and some remaining projection.
