Florida State Commit, 5-foot-8, 189-pound solid mature frame. Above average in the box, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 94 mph. Starts in a tall open stance with a tight controlled load, then uses a big leg kick. Has quick bat speed, short level swing plane and a front foot finish. He found some barrels with some loud contact. Up the middle approach. Behind the plate, he made strong throws to second and produced an efficient position velocity of 81 mph; had quick consistent footwork, soft hands, and a quick exchange. displayed next-level catching ability by boasting a 1.94-1.97 pop time. Staggered setup with above average flexibility. Used an-over-the-top slot and a short arm action while showing consistent accuracy to the bag. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.71.
11/08/18 - A stocky, strong frame he has some twitchy athleticism. Defensively, he has the tools of an above average to plus catcher. He has above average hands, flexibility and clean and quick transfer. Offensively, he is aggressive and compact through the zone. Shows above average bat speed and feel for the barrel. Showed present pull side power and overall has potential above average hit and power combo.
