Chace Garye, Lincoln (FL), 2029
Positional Profile: OF/LHP
Body: 5-11, 160-pounds. Tall, lanky frame with a high-waisted build and plenty of room for additional physical development. Projectable body type with long levers and athletic traits.
Hit: LHH. Hits from an open stance with a tall setup. Utilizes a floating leg lift for timing, occasionally shortening it into a toe tap. Maintains rhythm throughout the operation and consistently gets into a balanced hitting position. Shows an approach built around staying inside the baseball. Works through the middle of the field with a line-drive oriented path and keeps the barrel in the zone well. Swing operates under control with a repeatable look throughout.
Power: 92 max exit velocity, averaged 78.9 mph. 249' max distance.
Arm: LH. OF-81 mph. Works from a three-quarter slot with athletic arm action. Throws show natural life out of the hand and are delivered under control. Displays the arm strength and body control to make accurate throws from the outfield.
Defense: Athletic mover in the outfield with coordinated actions. Moves comfortably through defensive sequences and shows body control while working to the baseball. Actions project well as physical development continues.
ATH: 7.01 runner in the 60. 1.58 and 3.84 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. 26.30 max vertical.
