It was an impressive showing from Sapp as he looked the part in the box while batting in the heart of the order for the Pirates. Lean 5-foot-11, 157-pounds and boasts a budding feel to hit with plenty more to project. Put together strong at-bats across the entirety of the double-header including a pull-side RBI single in game one of the series. The LHH shows a quiet setup with some ability to create separation with fluid hands and good barrel length in-zone. Plate coverage stands out with bat-to-ball skills present and feel to spray the ball line-to-line in a mature approach to match. Sapp will be one to monitor over the years and has carved out a key role as a freshman for one of most competitive 5A teams in the state.
