6-foot-2 165-pounds. Stiltner was able to make a couple appearances this weekend with the first one being a tune up for bracket play. He filled up the zone as usual with the fastball up to 87. The fastball has late life, especially up in the zone. He was able to get multiple strikeouts on the fastball above the hands for swing and miss. He continues to clean his delivery up, and he looks even more effortless than before. The lower half is picture perfect with strong back leg drive and front leg lock out on the finish. The velo is going to continue to climb for Stiltner. In his bracket play outing he was up to 89. He is going to be a big name to know in the ‘25 class with a ton of upside in the mechanically sound delivery.
Uncommitted. 6-foot-2, 165 pounds. It was an encouraging look on this high projection athlete and ‘22 Future Gamer. The athleticism in the delivery stands out and he repeats it well for his age, staying compact down the hill with plenty of stride length and a developing lead leg block. You’d like to see him landing more straight on or slightly closed with his stride foot, as the well open landing currently impacts body control+direction+recoil at times. He’s athletic enough to adjust around that and his arm path stays very well connected to the largest muscles on the backside. Dillon’s stand out traits on the mound are currently his heavy FB in the 85-88 range with edge to edge run that he’s able to locate east/west to both corners with similar life. The pitch gets a large % of ground balls when he attacks the bottom of the strike zone with it. You could see in the frame that he’d gotten stronger over the winter, and there’s still much more to go in that department. His CUT worked in the 77-79 range and he continues to improve the shape, with more lateral action to go with the depth he typically has with it.
Uncommitted. The 6 foot 2, 165 pounder is an exceptional athlete with broad shoulders and a lengthy frame. It was a limited but impressive look that started off with his heavy sinker and aggressive mentality breaking a bat the 1st hitter he faced! Stiltner has a mid depth generic (but clean) arm swing that gets into throwing position early. The No. 14 player in our 2025 class creates big torque in a small area from advanced hip/shoulder separation. The projectable righty should continue to make jumps each year, and it will be exciting to see how hard he’s throwing 3 years from now. FB 84-85 T87 heavy sink+run, bore up. CUT 79-80 He is developing this pitch into a SL and I was impressed how he was able to get depth on the pitch in its early stages. Athlete.
6-foot-2, 165-pound with a projectable build, the right-hander tossed three innings of scoreless ball while striking out three (1BB) and yielding one hit. Easy effort on the mound with a slight cast out of the glove, there is quickness out front, and he worked 83-86 from a ¾ slot with more in the tank. The slider, thrown firmly at 77-80 with darting action, was manipulated for shape at times, and there is aptitude, overall, for spin. Stiltner also flashed a changeup at 74-77.
