Elder burst onto the scene last year while boasting a prolific two-way profile where he earned all state honors and a commitment to Enterprise State. Abundance of twitch and athleticism in the athletic 5-foot-10, 180-pound frame with more to tap into. Came through with multiple knocks on the weekend as he paced the Tigers offense. The RHH shows quiet, controlled hands with adjustability in the path and generates strength from the ground-up. High-level bat-to-ball skills stand out in a mature all-fields approach with immense feel to hit and real impact in the barrel as well. On the mound, Elder provided an electric outing to start day 2 on Saturday as he only gave up one earned run across 6.0 innings pitched in a win. Extremely easy mover down the mound and present arm speed stands out with pitchability. Fastball lived 88-90 (T91 MPH) with ride through the zone for swing-and-miss when elevated. Curveball created good depth with ability to add or subtract horizontal movement. Mixed in a quality changeup at 78-79 as well. The senior brings immense two-way value and impact to the Harris County Squad as he looks to pace a younger group while gearing up to lead them on another playoff run in ‘26.
