“Geno” put together one of the top bullpen sessions of GA All-State Rising Stars, sporting a 4-pitch mix, all with movement. From an athletic delivery and 3/4 arm slot, McKinlay got his lower half into each pitch extremely well as his drive leg nearly drags on the dirt. His 2FB had good speed, touching 78.5 MPH (76.8-78.5 range) which was paired with a CT that had tight movement (71-72). He paired his two heaters with two breakers (CH & SL), both with good movement. The lanky build of McKinlay looks to be a wiry, high-waisted frame that continues to fill out.
