Warner University Commit. Despite the Landmark bats going quiet, Tanner turned in a high quality 2-3 day as he was the only source of run production for the War Eagles’ bats. In his first AB, he was able to turn on 90 and get a barrel to the ball as he shot a 1B into the 6 hole. He showed his ability to go with the pitch in his following AB as he let the pitch get deep to hammer it to the RF wall. His bottom up strength allows for the ball to carry well off the bat, and when facing high velo he shortened up and choked up to ensure quality contact. In his final AB, he again shortened up and put together a quality AB as he grounded out for the only RBI against the Wolves. Tanner looks to be a pivotal part of the War Eagles’ lineup come playoffs next week.
