Uncommitted. It was an impressive showing for the Bulldogs backstop both offensively and defensively in a tight loss. Armed with present strength in a physical 6-foot-2, 185-pound frame with a quality floor on both sides of the ball. Came through late in the game as he caught one out front and hammered it to the pull-side for the no-doubt solo homerun. The LHH stays extremely simple at the plate with strength in the hands and leverages the barrel well. Strong actions stand out behind the plate as he caught multiple runners stealing. Plenty of athleticism in the crouch with strong blocking/receiving and clean transfers with arm strength to match. Evans looks to be a major contributor on both sides for the Dawgs this Spring and is an uncommitted name to keep an eye on that would be a good addition for a recruiting class across multiple levels.
