Uncommitted. Houston was highly competitive on the bump as North Springs matched up against Grovetown in the night slate for day one of GA Dugout Club 2026. It was confidence from the first pitch as he attacked every batter with a FB showing natural run from the left side (83-87, 2000+ spin). He featured two reliable breakers that both were devastating in the speed differential. His SL served as his primary offspeed, with sharp bite at 69–71 and consistently disrupting hitters’ timing. He complemented it with a CB at 65–67 that featured more IVB and a slower, top to bottom shape, giving hitters a completely different look. He did find himself in a couple tough spots with RISP in the 4th and 5th, stranding one and giving up one unearned run. Standing 6-foot-1, the lanky athlete showed versatility and speed in CF as well. He played a pivotal part in North Springs’ W as they hope to ride the momentum into day 2.
