Hudson had a great day in a region game against a top 5 arm on Tuesday. The junior hits in the middle of the lineup for a very good, well coached Ware County team. His first knock of the day was off of a 90 MPH fastball on the outer half, which he was right on time for and sent a scorcher to the RCF gap for a standup double. His second knock of the day proves his versatility as a hitter as there was a significant change in velocity. He once again was on time, stayed back and allowed his hands to work. Hudson has a mechanically simple swing, with great hands and strength behind every swing. The timing was very consistent throughout the game. Defensively, past balls were few and far between, and the opposition rarely took a chance to swipe second. The junior has a very high ceiling, and seems to have a high level of understanding both at the plate, and behind it.
