3/11/18- 5-foot-10, 175-pound left-handed pitcher. #25 player in Iowa 2019 class. Longer rocker step, crouched tuck and turn at balance, longer stride down mound, clean compact arm action, solid hand speed. Fastball was 82-83 mph with slight running action to arm-side of plate. Threw above avg. breaking ball with late depth; consistently working bottom of zone. Late down action on changeup for strikes; thrown consistently in bottom of zone.
7/31/17- 5-foot-10, 170-pound left-handed hitting pitcher. Generates momentum through windup, short clean arm action, hides ball from hitter, and jumps out of hand with extension. Projects to continue to add velocity. Fastball was 81-83 mph, live arm, with late arm-side sink. Breaking ball has tight rotation with quality 1/7 shape for strikes. Late fade and sink on changeup thrown at fastball arm speed.
3/5/17- 5-foot-10, 170-pound left-handed pitcher. Controlled tempo to balance point, very quick arm, moderate effort, ball explodes on hitter. Fastball was 80-82 mph with vary action for strikes. Avg. depth and shape on 1/7 breaking ball. Above avg. fade with good feel for changeup. Projects to add significant velo. Fastball and CH are currently above avg. pitches; once Tobey tightens up breaking ball; should be high follow in state.
