Colin Bettenhausen (Lincoln-Way East, 2027) was a winner on the mound from Day Two’s gameplay. High-waisted 5-foot-11, 162-pound frame with room to fill in strength. The right-hander was an up-tempo mover, using a medium leg lift with tuck and coil, into a tall-and-fall lower half, with a clean, high ¾ arm action. Bettenhausen induced plenty of weak contact with his three-pitch arsenal, tossing two scoreless innings and limiting runners on the bases. His fastball sat 83-85 mph with ride through the zone, topping 86.8 mph with a max IVB of 18.2” and a HM max of 17.8”. His slider was 74-77 mph with a slurve profile and a 2,373 rpm max, and his changeup flashed heavy arm-side run at 77-79 mph with an 18.6” HM average.

Body: 6-0, 162.7-pounds. High-waisted frame with room to fill in strength.
Delivery: Up-tempo mover, works intentfully downhill, high leg lift with tuck, drop/drive lower half.
Arm Action: RH. Clean, 3/4 arm action.
FB: T87, 83-85 mph. Some life out of the hand. T2189, 2041 average rpm.
SL: 75-77 mph. Horizontal actions, slurve type break. T2372, 2168 average rpm.
CH: 78-80 mph. Flashed heavy arm-side run. T1654, 1611 average rpm.
Uncommitted. Lean, athletic 5-foot-11, 170-pound frame. Struck out seven in five innings pitched. Compact arm action working from a ¾ slot. Ran the fastball up to 85 mph while sitting at 82-84 mph. Secondary offering was a slider at 69-70 mph with depth. Flashed a changeup at 79 mph.
Positional Profile: RHP/3B
Body: 5-10, 150.4-pounds.
Delivery: Quick worker, up-tempo delivery, medium leg-lift, tall/fall lower-half, stays in-line down the mound.
Arm Action: RH. Short arm action, over-the-top release.
FB: T82, 78-82 mph. Straight; plays well down in the zone. T2173, 2026 average rpm.
CB: 71-72 mph. Hard 11/5 bite at times. T2304, 2216 average rpm.
