RHP Grayson Carrigan (Montini, 2028) gave one of the more unique looks on the day with his lower, sidearm slot. He’s an athletic mover with a quick arm, and he showed an impressive ability to control the zone with his arm angle at this young of an age. The fastball played with heavy arm-side run and sink in the 76-79 mph range, peaking at over 21” of run. Slider played with a bullet, gyro shape at 66-69 mph, but the changeup looks to be the go-to secondary with a similar profile and release to the fastball, fading heavily to his arm-side at 71-72 mph.
