RHP/C Aiden Saracco (Staunton, 2028) made his Prep Baseball event debut this winter and came away a winner. A 5-foot-11, 175-pound frame with noticeable strength, Saracco’s fastball was up to 78 mph in the look with clean action out of the hand. He then showed an upper-60s change-up with fade at times, and a slider with sharp, 11/5 shape, sitting 68-70 mph. Offensively, he was one of the more intriguing freshman bats on the day. Ran a 7.23 60, and has a simple, balanced right-handed swing with some natural lift throughout. 90 mph peak exit velocity and was 73 mph from the crouch.
