Comments

12/14/25
Sturdy, 6-foot-1, 200-pounder with a young look. Efficient movement patterns down the slope with a loose, semi-stab style arm action that comes out at an over-the-top slot. Fastball averaged 83 mph and came out with some occasional carry life. Left most-bullish on the mid-70s change, a well-shaped offering (avg. 1.7" IVB, 8.8" HZ) that showed late arm-side fade with fastball arm speed. Downer-type mid-70s CB is a quality offering that plays well with his other two pitch shapes. Strong follow with more jumps to be had.

Brody Stevenson, a 2028 RHP/1B from Pendleton Heights (IN), stands 5-foot-11, 170 pounds with projection as he matures physically. The delivery is my favorite thing about him to date—clean, athletic, and efficient with dynamic balance and a quiet head throughout. His fastball sits 76–77 mph (T77) and plays up with high spin (2002 avg rpm) and IVB. The breaking ball has slurvey shape at 68–70 and he also flashes a slider at 68–71 (T2189 rpm) with makings of a future out-pitch. He mixes a straight changeup at 71–73. Offensively, he’s a fluid, smooth mover with a short swing that works behind the baseball and a path that shows some length. Starts in a balanced stance with tall back elbows and posted an 88 mph max exit velocity. Strong two-way follow, but mound potential stands out.
